Post King of England?
As the English Football season goes into yet another international break we have a look at whats been happening to the 4 unbeaten teams in England and ask who will be the last and who will be Crowned King of England.

Some may say a poor start for Manchester United and Fulham in the Premiership but neither has of yet lost in the League this season. They are the only two in the Barclays Premier League and are joined in England by Queens Park Rangers in the nPower Championship and Colchester United in the nPower League 1.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United (7 Games) will be frustrated at giving away late goals and dropping points but I am quite sure the fans will be sick to the stomach to look up and see the Sky Blue of City above them. The one thing that will be giving them rise for smile will be seeing Liverpool sitting in the relegation zone. Yet to lose a game this season they will still be challenging for the league come May but could they go the longest undefeated in England? Their next games line up as. West Brom (H 16/10), Stoke (A 24/10) and Spurs (H 30/10).

Mark Hughes and Fulham (7 Games) have only won once this season in the League but have drawn the other 6 games and so are undefeated in the league. Fulham had a glorious year in 2010, making it to a European final but their form in the League only managed 12th Spot. With Mark Hughes now at the helm and his special ability in managing draw after draw could it be Fulham that last the longest? Their next games line up as. Spurs (H 16/10), West Brom (A 23/10) and Wigan (H 30/10).

Neil Warnock and Queens Park Rangers (10 Games) the only undefeated team in the Championship have started with 8 wins and 2 draws. QPR have been absent from the Top Flight for 15 years now but maybe the start of this season could be the push they need to go back to the big time. Will they make it the longest undefeated? Their next games line up as. Norwich (H 16/10), Swansea (A 19/10), Bristol City (A 22/10) and Burnley (H 30/10).

John Ward and Colchester United (10 Games) the only team in League 1 that remains undefeated have claimed 3 wins and 7 draws from the opening 10 games. They are currently in the playoff positions lying 6th in the table. Can they stretch their undefeated run to be the longest in England? Their next games line ups as. Huddersfield (H 09/10), Oldham (A 16/10), Notts County (H 23/10) and Bournemouth (A 30/10).

So please vote and then why not have your say on any of the 4 clubs. Remember you are voting for the last team to be defeated by calendar date not run of games.

Cheers,

Barky

As an Update, John Ward and Colchester United fell at the first game losing at home to Huddersfield by 3 goals to nil.

The other 3 pretenders to the throne were rested due to International duty but all are back in action today.

And Then There Were Two....

Mark Hughes and Fulham have failed at the first game going down at home 2-1 to Spurs.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United were held at home 2-2 by West Brom but carry on unbeaten.

Neil Warnock and QPR were also held at home 0-0 by Norwich City but stay in the fight.

Neil Warnock and QPR stay in the race for the Throne as they finished goaless away to Swansea on Tues 19th. Swansea could have stopped the run but missed a penalty and it means that all is till to play for this weekend.

13th November: A 2-2 draw for United away to Villa and a 0-0 draw for the R's at Forest means the King of England is still waiting to be crowned.

Next up for the two remaining candidates:-

Manchester United Vs Wigan Atheltic - 20th November 3pm (GMT)
Wigan are struggling this season with only 3 wins and a point off of the relegation places. Sir Alex Ferguson will want to ensure 3pts from this game.

Queens Park Rangers Vs Preston North End - 20th November 3pm (GMT)
Preston are rooted to the bottom of the nPower Championship table with only 4 wins this season. Neil Warnock will be looking to take all 3pts and go back to the top of the table.

'Tale of a Would be King' to date.

UPDATE:
Man Utd 2 - 0 Wigan
QPR 3 - 1 Preston

Next up for the Would be Kings

Manchester United Vs Blackburn Rovers 27/11 15:00 GMT
Sir Alex will want to keep the pressure on Chelsea and go top even if it is for just one night. However, with Chelsea away to Newcastle on the Sunday maybe Utd will stay there. Rovers are no push overs though and are currently lying 11th.

Queens Park Rangers Vs Cardiff City 27/11 15:00 GMT
Top of the table clash, 1 vs 2, both teams have topped the table this season and are currently separated by 2pts. The toughest challenge yet for the R's and Warnock but if you want to be King then now is the time to rise and face up to the challenge.

UPDATE:-
Manchester United 7 - 1 Blackburn Rovers
Queens Park Rangers 2 - 1 Cardiff City

Both Teams Now Top:-

Post Re: King of England?
This weekend the fixtures are:-

Manchester United Vs Arsenal 13/12 20:00 GMT
The Top 2 go head to head in the Premiership and Sir Alex will be looking to go back to the top of the table (with a game in hand). Arsenal will be a tough game, could this be the stumbling block for Man U.

Queens Park Rangers Vs Watford 10/12 19:45 GMT
Watford are undefeated in 3 in the Championship and have climbed up to 10th. Warnock will surely be looking for a good win from the Rs to keep the unbeaten record and keep them top with a game in hand.

UPDATE
QPR 1 - 3 Watford
A shocking defeat for the R's, after only conceding 9 goals all season they suffer 3 in a single game. From a King to a Pawn, well, lets hope there is a Prince in the making (or a knight or Bishop). In fact I would settle for anything, by Hook or by Rook (with a FIFA silent C) :D QPR should still go up, lets hope that the season doesn't die out and that they do "go up where they belong". Surely its in the bag if the steel magnet gets some balls, the dodgy F1 team leader doesn't decide to force them to crash and burn and the pimp pays.
